The heating elements are then used only to compensate thermal loss to the surroundings. The waste water is circulated through the dirty side of the evaporation heat exchanger. When the operating temperature has been reached the compressor starts automatically. whereby the produced vapour is drawn from the holding tank through the mechanical foam breaker. The compressor increases the pressures of the vapour and thus also its temperature before the vapour is transferred to be condensed on the clean side of the evaporation heat exchanger. The energy released by condensation is used to evaporate the waste water on the dirty side of the evaporation heat exchanger. Thus energy circuit is closed. The distillate is now led to a coalescer. where any non-polar substances transferred during the evaporation are separated. From the coalescer the distillate leaves the unit through the large heat exchanger where it is heat exchanged with the incoming waste water. 2-2. Outline LAKOS Separator uses centrifugal force to eliminate solids which cause numerous problems in liquid. The LAKOS separator is an international patented product that can eliminate particles with centrifugal separation - more than 98% of particles with the size of 50mm~200Mesh (74Micron) and density of more than 2.6. and up to 75% of micro particles with the density of 20~50Micron. The separator prolongs the life span of the operated liquid and protects water treatment equipment from contamination and abrasion. The separator helps the system to be maintained in its high efficiency. saves operating cost. shortens the maintenance period and prevents the loss of liquid and solids. 2. Introduction Liquid/solids are put into the unit and it forms a spiral circulating flow. The interior Swirlex tangential slots accelerate the flow of fluid in order to maximize separation of solids and reduce pressure loss. The solid particles are pushed away by centrifugal separation as they are heavier than the liquid. The solid particles eventually fall into the collecting chamber where there is no flow movement. The liquid separated from the solids is lifted upwards and comes out of the separator. forming a spinal swirl. 3.
