507      캄보디아           공여국   긴급구호           호치민시, 프놈펜에 코로나19 대응으로 5만불 지원   VOV에 따르면, Ngyuen Thanh Phong HCM 시 인민위원회장은 상징적으로 남부 캄보디아 총영사에게 지원을 제공했다. 508      캄보디아           수원국   보건의료           캄 정부, 미국에 백신 4백만 도스 지원 요청 육 삼밧 보건부 차관은 캄 정부가 미 정부에 대해 코로나19 백신 4백만 도스를 기증해 달라고 요청했으며, 美대사관의 답변을 기다리고 있다고 밝힘.            육 삼밧 대변인은 캄 정부의 목표는 전체 인구의 80%에 해당하는 1천만-1.3천만명에 대한 백신 접종이며, 이를 위해 2천만-2.6천만 도스의 백신을 확보하는 것이라고 말함.  ※ 올해 2월부터 현재까지 중국정부의 원조 및 중국으로부터의 구매를 통해 약 6백만 도스를, 코백스 퍼실리티를 통해 약 32만 도스가 공급됨.       Chad Roedemeier 주캄 미대사관 대변인은 5.24 언론사 앞 이메일을 통해, 캄 정부의 요청을 美국무부에 전달했다고 말하고, 미국은 USAID를 통해 캄보디아의 코로나19 대응 지원을 위해 약 11백만불 이상을 지원했으며, 바이든 대통령이 6월말까지 전 세계의 수요에 대응하기 위해 8천만 도스의 백신을 제공할 것이며, 코백스 퍼실리티에 40억불3 지원을 약속했다“고 말함.                     캄 정부, 미국에 백신 4백만 도스 지원 요청

509      케냐     국제기구           농림수산           세계식량계획(WFP), 도시 지역 영양 문제 해결을 아이디어 제시           WFP는 일부 도시 지역의 식량 불안과 열악한 영양 문제를 해결하기 위한 몇 가지 혁시적인 아이디어를 제시함.           작년부터 실시한 WFP-X라고 불리는 프로젝트의 일환으로 2030년까지 케냐의 식량 안보를 위해 지역 및 국제 자문단이 참여하여 다섯 가지 아이디어를 제시함. 이 프로젝트의 목표는 나이로비 주민들의 영양가 있고 적절한 가격의 식량에 접근할 수 있도록 하는 것임.        WFP는 도시 인구 등가로 인한 식량문제 해결을 위해 100가지 아이디어를 모아 5가지 사회 도전 과제로 식량 불안을 해결할 수 있는 혁신으로 제시함.           Kenya: WFP Out to Address Nutrition in Urban Areas    The World Food Programme (WFP) has come up with some innovative ideas to address food insecurity and poor nutrition challenges in some urban areas.  It is the project called WFP-X which has been donging since last year, and local and international advisors presented 5 ideas. At the strategic dialogue meeting in Nairobi, Kenyan Government told that working in close collaboration with development partners, it will undertake several measures in efforts to spur economic development and reduce poverty.          The meeting after Kenya graduated from a least developed country to a lower-middle income one. It commended the development partners for their role in Kenya’s attainment of the new development level, and pledged that the government would put to good use all the money that is received as development assistance from donors.       Some of the strategic projects that rank highly on President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s agenda, include the Julius Nyerere Hydroelectricity Dam, transport infrastructure, ICT development and the construction of social services amenities like hospitals, schools and water projects. 516      케냐     수원국   농림수산           여성 프로젝트를 통한 해바라기 생산 향상   Singida Ikungi 지역에서 300여 명의 소규모 농가는 해바라기와 원예농업을 위한 우수농업기술과 스마크 기후 농업 교육 훈련을 받음. Singida와 Sinyanga 지역의 여성과 여성청소년들의 사회, 경제적 지위 향상을 목표로 1년 간 300만 달러가 투입됨.   시장평가 결과 Singida의 해바라기 수요가 큰 것으로 나타났고, 여성과 여성 청소년 농업인의 집단 마케팅 역량을 향상시키는 비전을 가짐.    동 사업은 여성 농업인이 각 마을의 해바라기 홍보대사가 되는 등 해바라기 농업에 대한 적극적인 참여를 장려함.   Women project empowers farmers to improve production of sunflower                 More than 300 smallholder farmers in Ikungi District, Singida Region have received training on good agricultural practices and climate smart agriculture for sunflower and horticulture farming. The initiative targets to enhance social and economic status of women and adolescent girls in Singida and Shinyanga regions.         According to the market assessment conducted there is a huge demand of sunflower in Singida. 517      케냐     공여국   보건의료           보건공동재정지원 270억 케냐실링 감소      케냐 의료 서비스 개선을 위해 다양한 개발 파트너들이 지원하는 보건분야공동재정지원금이 2020년 7월부터 올해 3월까지 270억 실링 이상 감소.      이는 1999년 보건 분야의 부문별 접근법(SWAP)에 기초, 기부자들과 현의하여 시작된 자금 조달 매커니즘임. 보건 분야의 전략 계획 이행을 지원하기 위해 자원을 모으는 많은 개발 기관으로부터 자금을 지원받으며, 주요 개발 파트너는 캐나다, 덴마크, 아일랜드, 스위스, UNFPA, 유니세프, 세계 은행 등임.    지원금 감소 원인은 밝혀지지 않았으나, 대부분의 선진국들은 코로나19 대유행으로 인한 예산 압박으로 인해 예산이 감소한 것으로 추정.                  27bn/- gap in Health Basket Fund           Contribution to the Health Basket Fund a kitty supported by various development partners to improve health services in the country have fallen by over 27bn/- from July 2020 to March this year.  It is a funding mechanism initiated in 1999 on the basis of a sector wide approach (SWAp) in the health sector, negotiated with the donors. 518      케냐     수원국   보건의료           케냐 대통령, 코로나19 봉쇄령 해제 케냐 우후루 케냐타 대통령은 지난 토요일, 4월에 시행된 봉쇄령을 해제하는 것으로 발표. 주점, 식당, 종교시설 및 학교의 정상 운영이 재개.  나이로비 및 인근 4개 지역 내외의 통행금지령이 해제되었으며, 학교는 새로운 학기 일정에 맞춰 정상 운영이 시작될 예정. 종교시설은 일부 제한과  함께 운영 재개가 허가될 예정. 정치모임은 기존과 동일하게 금지됨.      기존의 오후 8시 이후 야간통행금지령은 10시 이후 시행으로 개정. 신규 방침은 토요일 자정부터 시행될 예정.       코로나19 대응 방침 완화 이전, 나이로비 및 인근 지역은 별도의 위험지역으로 취급되어, 인근 지역으로의 통행이 금지된바 있음.     Kenyan president lifts COVID-19 lockdown imposed last month        Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday lifted the COVID-19 lockdown he imposed last month, allowing for a reopening of bars and restaurants, religious services and schools as the rate of infections eases. Curbs on travel in the capital Nairobi and four surrounding counties would be lifted, schools will be allowed to reopen following an Education Ministry calendar. Religious services will resume with some restrictions. Political gatherings would still be banned, he said in a speech.       An evening curfew that currently starts at 8 p.m. will be revised to 10 p.m.. This equipment, costing 597.5 million CFA francs, namely five 4*4 vehicles, four laptops and a printer, a radar penetrometer and a falling mass deflectometer, were received by the Minister of Equipment and Road Maintenance, Am d  Kouakou, from the hands of the US Ambassador to C te d'Ivoire, Richard K. Bell.  The American diplomat stressed that the equipment will allow the beneficiary structures to contribute effectively to the implementation of projects planned by the program and improve the quality of work of entities that are responsible for road maintenance in a sustainable manner.       The materials offered are a gift from the U.S. government. It is the taxpayers' money. They were received by the Minister of the Interior and Security.           For the minister, the vehicles, motorcycles and helmets received will enhance the mobility of the forces and their ability to operate flexibly. The computers and printers will be useful for procedures, office work but also for all computer and forensic work.         Spain has carried out several actions in favor of C te d'Ivoire. The keys to the tractors and agricultural equipment were officially handed over to the three Cpsam beneficiaries by the Minister of State, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani; the representative of the European Union Ambassador and the District Governor Minister. Agricultural kits consisting of sprayers, vegetable seeds and cassava cuttings were also offered to groups of women producers from some surrounding villages by Minister Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani who expressed his delight at the upcoming contribution of Cpsam to the development of the cassava sector.     In order to contribute to the improvement of the level of agricultural mechanization within the cassava sector, Firca, it should be recalled, has set up, within the framework of Pro2m, four Cpsam in Bouak , Yamoussoukro, Bouafl  and Toumodi. The objective of the establishment of these centers is to provide mechanized services to cassava producers located within the range of these centers. It also hopes that the NDP will work to collect reliable data on the population and in all sectors of activity in order to formulate projects and programs adapted to the needs of the population. The new  500 workers of Migraci n Colombia will focus on the attention of Venezuelan migrants that don't have acces to technology to make the registration into the temporary protection status, as well as attending Venezuelans that for the second phase of the process new to do their biometrical registration.       Additional to the new personnel of the entity, 100 attending/service points are expected to be installed by the end of June. These places, according to Espinosa, have been denominated 'Visible Points'. 541      콩고 민주공화국  공여국   긴급구호           USAID, 니라공고 화산폭발 대응을 위한 인도주의적 지원 제공 민주콩고 니라공고 화산 폭발 대응을 위해 USAID는 화산 분출로 영향을 받은 인구의 안전한 식수 제공, 콜레라 예방 활동을 지원하고자 긴급지원 형태로 10만불을 제공함.        5월 22일, 민주콩고의 니라공고 화산이 분출하기 시작하였으며 일련의 작은 지진들을 발생시킴. 용암의 흐름은 고마시에서 약 1마일 떨어진 곳에서 멈췄으나, 용암 분출로 인해 북키부주 내 수도관 손상 등 심각한 피해를 발생시켰으며, 50만명의 식수 공급을 차단시킴. While lava flows stopped about one mile from Goma, the eruption caused significant damage in North Kivu, including to a critical water pipeline, cutting off drinking water access for as many as 500,000 people. USAID disaster experts are conducting assessments to determine additional needs and coordinating with local officials and humanitarian partners. UNDP는 한국 전문가들과 함계 촐폰아타, 오쉬, 비쉬케크, 수작에 4개의 새로운 소방 및 구조소를 건설하고 현대적인 장비를 제공해 줄 것이다.  이 행사에서 한국 국제 협력단의 이종수 소장은 전 세계적으로 자연 재해가 증가함에 따라 국가의 재난 위험 역량을 강화하는 것이 국민의 안전과 삶에 더욱 중요한 것이다. 또한 키르기즈 정부는 재난 위험 관리에 대한 국가적 역량을 강화하고 있고 이번 프로젝트에 한국 정부도 키르기즈 정부의 노력에 동참하게 되어 너무 기쁜 일이다      키르기즈 공화국 비상 사태부의 차관인 아클벡 자리포비츠는 우리 파트너인 KOICA 와UNDP의 지원으로 기술 및 인적 능력을 향상시키는 데 상당한 성과를 거두었다고 전헸디.                        Construction of new fire-fighting station starts in Osh        Today a solemn ceremony was held to mark the start of construction of the fire and rescue station within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA),and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).  The Director of KOICA, UNDP Assistant Resident Representative, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, and the First Vice Mayor of Osh attended the ceremony, UNDP in Kyrgyzstan reported.  The construction of a new building for the fire and rescue station in Osh is being implemented as part of a joint project by KOICA and UNDP in cooperation with Korean experts and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. In cooperation with Korean experts, UNDP will build four new fire and rescue stations in the cities of Cholpon-Ata, Osh, Bishkek, and Suzak (Jalal-Abad oblast), as well as provide modern fire-fighting equipment machinery and improve the quality of fire-fighting services. The project also includes training courses to enhance the skills and knowledge of fire and rescue service personnel. Working conditions of firefighters will also be improved, based on gender equality, universal access to fire services and principles of sustainable development.  During the ceremony, the country director of Korea International Cooperation Agency Mr. Jongsu Yi noted that “With the increase of disasters around the world, strengthening a country's capabilities for disaster risk reduction has become more important to ensure the safety and lives of the people. The Kyrgyz government is also strengthening efforts to enhance national capacity in disaster risks management. I am very happy that the Korean government has joined the Kyrgyz government’s efforts through this project.”  “Many of our activities are aimed at strengthening the national capacity for disaster risk management, and projects implemented jointly with the Ministry of Emergency Situations contribute to the development of systems for monitoring and forecasting natural disasters, crisis management and disaster response services,” said Erkinbek Kasybekov, Assistant Resident Representative at UNDP Kyrgyz Republic.       UNDP will modernize fire protection facilities and equipment in order to reduce human casualties and physical damage caused by fires, as well as strengthen fire-fighting capacity to protect the vulnerable population, especially women and children.  Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Akylbek Mazaripov said at the ceremony: “With the support of our partners KOICA and UNDP, we have achieved significant results in increasing the technical and human capacity of the Ministry.
