대체하는 후속차를 개발하고 있다. 상용기반 기술과 부품 공용화로 경제성
및 편의성을 확보하고, 군용차량으로서 구비해야 할 요구사양을 개발 적용하여 
전천후 전장환경에서도 운용성능을 발휘할 수 있도록 개발하고 있다.
