1990 년대 초에 새로운 수류탄 발사기를 개발하는 주요 목표는 체중을 상당히 줄이는 것이 었습니다. AGS-30 자동 유탄 발사기는 다른 유사 무기와 비교하여 17.5kg (수류탄 발사기, 삼각대에 장착되고 조준기 장착)의 기록적으로 낮은 무게를 자랑합니다. 새로운 자동 유탄 발사기는 툴라 (Tula)에 기반을 둔 악기 디자인 국 (Tula-based Instrument Design Bureau)의 가장 유명한 현대 무기 디자이너 인 V. P. Gryazev가 개발했습니다.

     AGS-30은 30mm VOG-17M, VOG-30, GPD-30 파편 수류탄을 발사합니다. 탄약 사료는 수신자 오른쪽에 부착 된 탄약 상자에 보관 된 29 둥근 금속 벨에서 나옵니다 (탄약 벨트 및 상자는 AGS-17 자동 유탄 발사기의 것과 완전히 표준화되었습니다).

     AGS-30은 적의 인력과 얇은 피부 무기 시스템을 다양한 표지 (트렌치, 리버스 슬로프, 계곡 등의 열린 여우 홀)의 뒤쪽과 뒤쪽에서 죽입니다.

     AGS-30은 블로 백 방식으로 작동합니다. 볼트가 회복되면 뒤쪽 검지에서 발사됩니다. 볼트 반동은 리턴 스프링에 의해 완전히 감쇠되므로 자동 유탄 발사기는 반동 무기입니다. 이 설계 솔루션을 통해 설계자는 높은 정확도의 화재를 유지하면서 무게를 크게 줄일 수있었습니다. 방아쇠 어셈블리는 자동 발화만을 제공합니다.

     AGS-30은 모든 작동 조건에서 단순한 설계와 높은 신뢰성을 특징으로합니다.

     삼각대 마운트에는 횡단 및 높이 메커니즘이 장착되어 있습니다. 전방 및 후방 다리는 발사 높이가 변경 될 수 있도록 조정 가능하며, 발사 위치에서의 지형 변동에 관계없이 자동 수류탄 발사기가 쉽게 발사되기 쉽고, 씰링 또는 무릎 꿇기 위치에서 쉽게 발사 할 수 있습니다.

     AGS-30은 평평하고 굽은 불을 둘 다 수행 할 수 있습니다. 정확한 직 · 간접 화재를 보장하는 광학 시력이 제공됩니다. 조정 가능한 선견 및 후방 시야를 포함하는 아이언 볼은 또한 보조 수단으로 사용될 수 있습니다.

     자동 유탄 발사기는 포수와 탄약 운반자로 구성된 2 인 강 전투 요원이 운영하고 운반합니다. 전투 위치에서 AGS-30은 무너 뜨리지 않고 한 사람이 획득 할 수 있습니다.

   The main objective of developing a new grenade launcher in the early 1990s consisted in reducing its weight considerably. As compared with other similar weapons, the AGS-30 automatic grenade launcher features a record-breaking low weight of 17.5 kg (the grenade launcher, mounted on a tripod and fitted with a sight). The new automatic grenade launcher was developed by one of the most prominent contemporary arms designers V. P. Gryazev from the Tula-based Instrument Design Bureau.

     The AGS-30 fires 30 mm VOG-17M, VOG-30, and GPD-30 fragmentation grenades. Ammunition feed is from a 29-round metal bell stored in an ammunition box attached to the right side of the receiver (ammunition belts and boxes are totally standardised with those of the AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher).

     The AGS-30 kills enemy manpower and thin-skin weapon systems in the open and behind various covers (open foxholes of trenches, reverse slopes, ravines etc).

     The AGS-30 is blowback-operated. It fires from the rear sear, when the bolt recovers. The bolt recoil is completely damped by the return spring, thus, the automatic grenade launcher is a recoilless weapon. This design solution has allowed designers to significantly cut down the weight, while maintaining a high accuracy of fire. The trigger assembly provides for automatic fire only.

     The AGS-30 features a simple design and a high reliability in any operating conditions.

     The tripod mount is equipped with traversing and elevation mechanisms. The front and the rear legs are adjustable which allows the firing height to be varied and makes the automatic grenade launcher easy to fire from a prone, a sealing, or a kneeling position regardless of ground variations at the firing position.

     The AGS-30 can conduct both flat and curved fire. It is fitted with an optical sight, ensuring accurate direct and indirect fire. Irons sights, comprising an adjustable foresight and a rear sight, can also be used as an auxiliary means.

     The automatic grenade launcher is operated and carried by a two-man strong combat crew, comprising a gunner and an ammunition carrier. In the combat position the AGS-30 can be earned by one man without being knocked down.
