2018 대전 사이언스페스티벌 참관기

다양한 첨단기술의 컨셉을 간단하게 소개하고, 관련기업들의 정보가 동시에 보여지는 공간이다.

mixed reality. 현실과 가상의 경계를 의미하는 것 같은데... 아직 일반적이지 않은 개념이지만, 조만간 영화에서 보던 상황이 현실에서 나타날 것이라 예상해본다.

로봇공학... 너무나 당연히 현실화 될 분야. 제조설비,생산라인부터 로봇이 일반화되어 왔다. 이를 기계라고도 부르고 자동화설비라고도 부르지만, 궁극적으론 로봇이라 생각하는 것이 이해하기 쉬운 방법일 것이다.

앞으로 군사장비의 로봇화가 급가속할 것이라 예상한다.

드론...옛날엔 RC만해도 대단히 부러운 장난감이었는데... 이제는 드론으로 발전되면서 동시에 너무 흔한 장난감이 되었다 우리집에만 드론이 3대가 있으니...이제 너무 흔한 장난감이 되었다.

그러나 드론은 단순한 장난감 이상으로 발전하고 있고, 이 또한 군사장비분야로 급속한 발전이 될 것으로 예상한다. 지역방어장비나 경계장비로 조만간 일반화 될 것으로 예상한다.

공유경제... 자동차부터 쉐어링하우스까지.... 소득의 양극화부터 소득의 세대간 격차 등의 다양한 사회변화에 영향을 받아서 나타나는 중요한 경제행위의 변화라고 생각한다.

유전자하면 우리는 그저 자녀의 유전자만을 생각해왔는데...이제는 유전자가 생명자체를 미리 계획하는 모양새가 일반화되고 있다. 물론 몬샌토처럼 식물유전자를 조작해서 수익을 내는 회사도 많아서 알려진 바 있지만..(참고로 몬샌토는 인류의 미래를 파괴할 가능성도 있다고 생각되지만...) 이제는 대형병원이나 제약회사의 유전자 조작,유전자 가공이 널리 알려지고 있다.

인공지능... 우리는 이세돌과의 바둑때문에...인공지능은 바둑두는 컴퓨터인줄 알고 있을까?

아니다. 오늘 뉴스에 한국군 보병분대까지도 기동화하고, 나아가 서로 네트워크하고, 나아가 지휘관은 인공지능의 도움을 받아서 작전명령을 내릴 수 있는 수준까지 발전시킨다고 발표했다. 백두산호랑이 개념이라고 했었던가...

인공지능은 기계를 진정한 로봇이 되게 만드는 핵심요소이고, 이제 다음세대,다다음세대는 로봇과 생활하는 것이 당연한 사회환경에서 살게 되지 않을까 생각해본다.

IOT는 센서를 통해서 기계간에 데이터,정보를 주고받으면서 상호작용하는 개념인데...4차산업혁명에서 가장 우선적으로 각광받고 있다. 왜일까? 우리는 제조업기반국가이기 때문이다. 이 쪽은 중간부품 느낌이라서...내 아이디어링이 아직 많이 미치지 못하고 있다.

3D프린팅...이미 오래전부터 일반화되었으나 우리 주변엔 아직도 기초적인 수준의 장비와 활용만 이루어지고 있다. 금형사출중심의 제조업이 도태될까봐 두려움을 가지고 있는 것일까? 생각보단 제대로 3D프린터로 새로운 사업을 창조하는 회사가 보이지 않는다. 그저 일반적인 활용수준일뿐...

우리사회가 조금만 더 진보적이라면,, 젊은 인재들이 공무원시험준비를 하는데 빠져있는 현실을 벗어난다면, 그저 대기업에서 안정적인 월급을 받는 것이 목적이 되는 사회가 아니된다면 새로운 기업을 기대할 수 있을 것 같다.

십수년전 스마트헬스장을 쇳덩이가 아닌 모터의 토크를 가지고 할 수 있다면서 같이 사업을 해보자고 제안을 받은 적 있는데... 이건 그 정도의 수준이 아니라 말 그대로 유전자부터 다양한 기술이 융복합되어 나타날 분야이며 불로장생까지는 아니어도 건강한 100세 200세를 생각하는 인류에게 궁극적으로 포용될 분야라고 생각한다.

앞에 MR이 있었지만, 지금은 VR의 시대를 달리고 있다고 본다. 주로 오락용이 많이 나오고 있는데... 박람회에서 체험해보니 정말 재밌었다. 오락실처럼 일반 상권에 프랜차이즈 VR오락실이 퍼지고 있으니 이것을 기반으로 다양한 분야로 확장되리라 본다. 특히 군사훈련용으로...ㅎㅎㅎ

좀비로부터 방어를 하는 VR게임을 해봤었는데... 얼마나 몰입이 되던지... 사격간 기동을 하고 있는 나를 발견하게 되었다. 기계 담당자가 얼른 내 발을 잡고서 움직이지 말라고 할 정도로...그 정도로 몰입이 되었다. 군사용으로 많은 진척이 있을 것이 확실하다.

Robotization of military equipment is expected to accelerate rapidly in the future.

Drones ... Once upon a time RC was a very enviable toy ... Now that it has developed into a dron, it has become a very common toy at the same time. There are only three drones in my house.

However, the drones are more than just toys, and this is also expected to be a rapid development in the field of military equipment. It is expected to become generalized soon with local defense equipment and border equipment.

Shared economy ... from car to sharing house .... I think it is a change of important economic activity which is influenced by various social change such as polarization of income and generation gap of income.

When we have genes, we have only thought about the genes of our children. Now, it is becoming common that genes plan the life itself in advance. Of course, there are many companies that make profits by manipulating plant genes like Monsanto. (I think Monsanto might destroy the future of humankind.) Now, , Gene processing is widely known.

Artificial Intelligence ... Do we know that Artificial Intelligence is a computer to make a Go?
