내가 태국사람에게 설명한 한글에 대한 내용 중 일부

 

1.그런데 한국어의 최대 장점은 확장성이에요. 개인이 새로운 단어를 만들어서 남들에게 말해도...그 의미를 상대방이 이해할 수 있거든요.

2.그래서..한글을 영어로 번역하면... 건조하고 재미없게 느껴져요. 영어는 뜻글자라서...한글의 뉘앙스를 전달 못하죠.


3.예를 들어 BTS의 노래가사중에 '소복소복' 이란 단어는 어떤 상황에서 누가 듣느냐에 따라 감정이 다 다르게 느껴지게 되요.

4.한글은 '소리글자' 이지만 '뜻글자' 이상의 의미를 단어안에 가지고 있어요.


5.그 수준에 이르르면...시인이 되실수도 있습니다. 또는 작곡가도...


6.태국인의 감정으로...한글 작곡을 하는거지요. ^&^
